The work of Luísa Quartin is made to last a lifetime, to accompany you in every occasion and hopefully, one day become a heirloom. The pieces are handmade of 925 silver or 24k gold plated/vermeil (unless stated otherwise) and of the highest possible quality.
Over time, jewelry will naturally oxidize, and gold vermeil can fade slightly with frequent use due to the nature of the elements. To preserve your jewelry from tarnishing and ensure that the pieces remain in the original condition for the longest time possible, avoid contact with water (sea and pools specially), lotions, perfumes, sweat or other liquids. Try to not use your jewelry during certain activities such as cleaning, swimming and exercising.
While not wearing your jewelry, we recommend you store them in a cool, dry place, preferably in its box or a bag.
All jewelry should be cleaned periodically using a soft cloth but note that some of the finishing shine will fade over time. Surface treatments and processes are not permanent, but you can always contact me to re-polish and clean your piece or go to your local goldsmith. All pieces are ultrasonically cleaned.
